A Thousand Words

This summer, guest contributors to Writing People Want to Read will offer us their keyboardless creations, beginning with the work of esteemed artist, Edie Everette. In the spirit of upending the 1,000 words cliche, I invite readers to submit up to 1,000 words of prose or poetry that respond to Ms. Everette’s artwork.
